Tastings In the Bar or offsite, for groups, friends, family or work
In our upstairs area we are able to host up to 10 guests seated or 12/14 standing for various wines tastings.
Minimum numbers required 6 guests, or minimum spend if less than 6 of £225.
*Please note these are for pre arranged groups, they are not just turn up on the day bookings.
We currently offer two options, plus the new Fine Wine tasting which are as follows:
There are two standard price ranges, each include Staff time for the tasting and the exclusive use of upstairs for your group.
Wine tasting option 1. To include 6 x 50ml wines per person – £37.50 each
Wine tasting option 2. To include 8 x 50 ml wines per person – £45 each
Once you have finished the tasting element the remainder of the wines are there for you to finish off or take away
NEW* Fine Wine Selection Tasting
This is for those of you who would like try some of the top end wines, to find out what all the fuss is about! Iconic names and regions such as Ch.Musar, Neuf du Pape, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Chablis, Nubiola, and more. A special treat for friends and family or out to entertain customers, or for those who just want to try some real quality.
The Fine wine tasting will consist of specially selected wines, the minimum/maximum group size is of 8 guests @ £75 Each. The Minimum cost if less than 8 guests is £600.

The suggested 6 wine option includes 1 Rose, 2 whites 3 Red … and with the 8 wine option, 2 rose, 3 white & 3 red, but we are happy to switch numbers around if there is more of a drive to a particular colour.
The wines chosen will be mid-range to start, finishing with top range white & reds (likewise with rose if 8 wines chosen) after each section, varying the grape to show the broad width of tastes available. Wines that are in the top range for this tasting are not available by the glass normally behind the bar. Once the tasting is done then the remainder of the wines are there for you and your group to finish off! Or take home.
Should you decide to proceed we would require a £100 deposit which becomes non- refundable 24 hours before the tasting if cancelled.
We can create a large mixed meat & cheese sharing platter for any size of group, such as the sample to the left. All vegan/vegetarian/gluten free requirements can be catered for so long as we are informed in advance. All can be discussed and complimentary olives & grapes are added to this platter.
