Advised to Book
As we only offer table service, no matter what the circumstances with regard to distancing, and because we are a small bar we would advise that you book in advance, no matter how many in your party but especially at weekends or for numbers of 4 and above so as not be disappointed!
Unfortunately due to occasional no shows we will require a deposit of £50 for groups of 5 plus. Why? Some of you ask, because we tell walk- ins a table is booked so they leave – then the booking doesn’t turn up and we lose out on both. But it’s a bar why book? Because we are only a small bar so if you want to guarantee a seat it’s the best way!

Downstairs
Window table, cocktail table height, 4-6 guests or 3 couples or party of 8.
Main table, benches, chairs at either end, 6-8 or 3 couples.
Low wine table, 2-4 guests or 6-8 along the Bench.
At the Bar/table seating 2-4 guests.
Outside
Autumn/Winter 4 tables, 2 in Church Street 2 In Church Lane.
Spring/Summer Church Street 2 tables of 4.
Church lane 4 tables of 4, 6 tables of 2.
Sofa area up to 8 guests available when really good weather!
Upstairs
We use upstairs for private tastings, but it is available to book for small group parties of between 6-10 around the table or 10/14 around the room mixed seated and standing.
Wanting to Book for Christmas then we would suggest you get in now as dates are going fast…

Tasting table, cocktail height, 6-8 guests or 2 x 2 if distancing.

Vive la difference!
For a bit of fun and to make life easier 3 of the tables have large ice buckets built in the main and low tables downstairs and the tasting table upstairs.
Should you wish to pre book your bottles/drinks in advance they will be waiting for you in the ice bucket on arrival, flowers can also be added to the bucket, so ideal for birthdays, celebrations or even first dates…..or maybe 3rd!!
A small deposit will be required when booking these elements.
